Owners of Bikini Boot Camp:

It all started on the Calgary running paths with 2 girlfriends looking for something new to shake up their current fitness routine. With Lindsay’s background in kinesiology, personal training and chiropractic and Dawn’s love of physical activity and the outdoors, Bikini Boot Camp was born.

Since 2004, we have been leaders in the fitness industry by providing cutting edge workouts for women. Rooted in the philosophy that every woman CAN, our programs have become the playground where women meet after work or once they have dropped their kids off at school and spend time focused on themselves.

We are your fitness experts and make movement fun for all ages, shapes and sizes! Whether it’s a fitness program, race training, local or international retreats, or simply signing up for our newsletter or ‘liking’ us on Facebook, we are here for you! Bikini Boot Camp Inc. is a Canadian trade-marked fitness company. We are the original and only Bikini Boot Camp in Canada. Only programs operated by Bikini Boot Camp Inc. are authorized to provide the Bikini Boot Camp Experience. The only certified Bikini Boot Camp trainers are ones that complete the designated Bikini Boot Camp Certification provided by Bikini Boot Camp Inc.


1. Who joins Bikini Boot Camp?

Women who want to get back into working out or need a change in their current program. Bikini Boot Camp welcomes all shapes & sizes as well as all levels of fitness. We are consistently attracting women who are excited about getting active and staying active.

2. Do I need to be in shape before I start Bikini Boot Camp?

No, we do our best to accommodate all fitness levels and have designed programs accordingly. The exercise will require you to get on and off the ground with ease and others will ask you to get yourself into certain positions that require moderate flexibility.

3. As an athlete, will I still be challenged?

Yes, most of the exercises are timed & additional challenges will be added to the exercise to increase their difficulty.

4. How do I know which level to join?

Here are some general guidelines to help you choose the program best suited to your fitness level.

  • Engaged in an active lifestyle or starting back into a program after time off or injury
  • Can easily run for 5 mins
  • Current baseline level of fitness of 0-2 workouts per week
  • Current baseline level of fitness of 2-3 workouts per week
  • 20+ mins cardio capacity on elliptical, bike, treadmill, etc...
  • Familiar with the use of free weights

5. Are there specific dates when registration opens online?
Yes! Mark these dates down on your calendars:
  • JUMP START TO SPRING registration opens JANUARY 15th
  • SPRING registration opens FEBRUARY 15th
  • SUMMER registration opens MAY 15th
  • FALL registration opens JULY 15th
6. Where are the workouts located?

7. What will I be doing at the workouts?

Quite simply EVERYTHING!! The program is based on function therefore core stabilization will always be a part of the workout. Other exercises will include running (short distances), resistance training, lunges (lots of lunges!), tricep dips, jump rope, jumping jacks, theraband training, yoga, ball work (both with an exercise ball and a medicine ball), boxing, relays and anything else we can pull together to make you sweat!! Most of the exercises will be new to you. They are designed to add some flavour to your current personal programs.

8. What does the nutritional component consist of?

Bikini Boot Camp's philosophy is about balance. This includes nutrition. We encourage healthy eating and educating participants on how to make healthy choices that are easy and effective. A healthy diet includes all food groups and eating a variety of food within each.

We believe in getting back to the basics which means choosing food as close to its natural state as possible. We encourage increasing the amount of whole foods we consume (fruits and vegetables, whole grains, all the good fats) and limiting the amount of synthetic, processed substances (aspartame, pre-package food, all the stuff that never goes bad- yikes!). Food is our best medicine! The quality of food we put into our bodies dictates how our bodies will respond in our day to day lives.

Throughout your Bikini Boot Camp program, nutritional tools will be provided. Simple and effective tools that when executed take you 1 step closer to reaching your goals. Anyone who would like additional nutritional guidance is always welcome to contact their trainer.

9. Are there specialty programs I can join?



CORPORATE programs are perfect for those who work downtown or close to it. Workouts will only be held at 2 locations in the heart of downtown. Workouts last one hour so that you can get back to the office - your warm up and cool down are the walk/run from the office to the park and back. You'll be energized and ready for the last half of your workday!

POST-NATAL BIKINI BOOT CAMP is designed for new moms. Babies ages 6 wks - 1 yr are welcome to attend the workout. Learn how to incorporate your child into your physical activity. What a wonderful opportunity to meet new moms while being a fantastic role model for your little one. *details such as types of strollers & what you need to bring to class are available upon request.

10. What results can I expect from this program?

How your body will respond is unique to you. Most body composition changes take ~6 weeks to appear. In this 8 week program participants have noticed a decrease in overall body fat, increased strength, stamina, agility, endurance and self esteem. However, in order to experience these results all aspects of the program must be followed. It takes more than the specified workout days to succeed. Self-discipline is required! The additional training days must be completed weekly and the nutritional suggestions must be adhered to. As your trainers we are here to help you stay motivated, accountable and help you realize just how amazing you are!

11. What do I need to bring with me to the workouts?
  1. Yourself- pumped and ready to work!!
  2. Water- NO carrying case required.

*if specific workouts are requiring additional items you will be notified by your trainer ahead of time.

12. What happens when it rains or snows?

We are all here to burn calories and we will do that in rain or shine!! If things get too slippery or muddy to continue a workout then a run may take its place and the workout will be rescheduled. If the weather is questionable you will be able to check your trainer's voice mail - it will be changed to inform you of any changes to the workout. Voice mail changes will be made 1.5 hours prior to workout time. You may also check your dashboard to see if the session has been rescheduled. You will be surprised at what can be done in weather that you once thought was unbearable.

*Safety will always be top priority. You will never be placed in a situation where the weather is a threat to your well-being.

13. What happens if I need to miss a class?

We realize that life gets hectic and plans booked ahead of time may interfere with a couple workouts. To accommodate for life’s irregularities we designate 2 season specific bonus workouts for your program. Bonus workouts are held Friday at 6pm. Date and location are given to you once you register.

No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes.

15. If I chose not to continue will I get a refund?
  • $100 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No refunds or credits of any fees will be given once the first week of the program is complete.
Cancellations and Changes
  • If you withdraw from the program before the first class, a credit may be offered or a refund may be issued on a pro-rated basis (please note the $100 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable).
  • Program changes may be made prior to the start date of the first class, subject to space and availability.
16. What if I forget my password & can't log into the website?
