SHEENA DENSCOMBE

Sheena's *love* for fitness started back in 2002 when she went through a major lifestyle change. After losing over 75 lbs, her love for fitness grew even more. She is now a certified personal trainer, a running coach (middle and long distances), and an indoor cycling and fitness instructor who can inspire you to reach your fitness goals. AMY PYSAR

“Never be afraid to do something new. Remember, amateurs built the Arc, professionals built the Titanic"

My interest in sports and fitness started at a young age, playing almost every sport throughout my school years.  I found my true passion for Basketball when I had the opportunity to play at the college level in Edmonton and later in California.  My time in California studying Kinesiology, playing sports and immersing myself in the active outdoor lifestyle is where my interest in Personal Training began.  I decided to move back to Edmonton to complete my education in the Personal Fitness Trainer program at NAIT.

Furthering my love of the outdoors I found Bikini Boot Camp and love what they stand for! The dedication and knowledge of each and every trainer was inspiring.  Not just another boot camp, but a highly structured, motivating women’s only boot camp was just what I was looking for!  I joined Bikini Boot Camp soon after as a trainer.

I believe my athletic background, personal experience and personal training diploma has given me the tools to challenge and motivate you to reach your fitness goals.  I will be there to support you every step of the way; I know together we can achieve anything we put our minds to.  I look forward to the challenge!

REBECCA SUMMACH

B.A.; B.SC. OT REG (C)

Rebecca Summach

I became interested in fitness in high school but was often intimidated by the gym environment and was never sure with what to do with various machines and free weights.  Although I tried to maintain consistency in working out, I often found myself not enjoying going to the gym, performing the same activities and not seeing the results I wanted in my appearance. It wasn’t until university that I started to experiment with different fitness classes and exercises and finally the results that I wanted started to occur.  Working out became enjoyable and a lifestyle!  I became a certified fitness instructor and now teach a wide variety of different classes. I also work as an Occupational Therapist in pediatrics. My philosophy is simple, fitness is a lifestyle and consistency is the key to maintenance.  I am always looking for new and exciting fitness regimes.  I enjoy showing others what fitness can offer, mentally, physically and spiritually. As a trainer I strive to motivate others to achieve their personal goals and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.

CHANTALE PRYOR

PT

Chantale Pryor

Physical activity has always been part of my life.  From dance class and gymnastics as a child to basketball and track and field in high school, I was always involved in sports one way or another.

My involvement in health and fitness continued throughout university where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics/Health Promotion.  I then proceeded to earn my Physiotherapy degree from the University of Ottawa.

In 2006, a personal tragedy made me reevaluate my life, my goals and my plans for the future.  At that moment, I chose to become the best version of myself that I could be, mentally and physically. Initially, exercising was purely therapeutic but within a few weeks, I was having fun and enjoying the positive physical and mental transformations.

What I want for my Bikini Boot camp ladies is to inspire and to be inspired, to challenge one another to be the best that they can be.  I am here to provide honesty, positivity, and continued support to every participant.  But most of all I want everyone to have a great time while reaping the rewards of a kick butt workout.

The hardest part of an exercise regimen is to start…once you’ve started…the most difficult part is to stop!!!

JOVETTE MCDONALD

Bottom line, her fresh workouts will leave you feeling empowered!
