This year, the Bikini Boot Camp Babes took to the highways again for another great Banff-Jasper Relay! Members of the team came from Calgary to as far as Prince Albert, SK, and put in an awesome effort on the course. Clad in pink leg warmers and pom-poms, the fabulous ladies of the Bikini Boot Camp relay team showed not only exceptional athleticism, but incredible sportsmanship along the route. We braved snow, rain, wind and great bursts of sun not to mention some celebrity sightings, and ran our way to a second place standing for the Women's Open category!
Way to go ladies...Congratulations to everyone! It was a ROCKIN' weekend, with laughs, fun, and of course a great run!
Thanks so much to everyone on the BBC team for being such a wonderful and supportive group! The weekend completely surpassed all of my expectations! I had such a fabulous time! You guys rocked!
I hope to see you all the future!

You KNOW that if Mona and Lisa emailed, I have to too!!
Just wanted to echo their sentiments, and add...
I have always run "solitary" races/runs. Not by choice, but because my family is far from SK. My husband and close friends are usually in the same race as me and my kids are usually at a babysitters. When running races, it always brings a tear to my eye to see kids or moms, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents or friends cheering or holding signs for someone along the course and at the finish line. As I am running, I know I likely won't ever see that kind of support. I always daydream while on the course that someday "someone" would be there for me and what that would look like or how it would feel. I've run lots of races that way.
Well, for all "those" races, the Bikini Boot Camp Babes have made up for every one of those times I dreamed someone was "there for me" -HANDS DOWN! To feel the support of 14 other fabulous women EVERY step of the way was overwhelming at times. Thank you all!!
